Cannabis Flower Essential Oil blends well with citrus oils such as Bergamot Oil, Lemon Oil, Lime Oil, and Orange Oil as well as with Lavender essential oils.

The leaves of this cannabis plant have a similar shape to marijuana, but it should not be confused with it since it is not the same plant and cannot be utilized as a drug. The plant from which the Cannabis Flower Essential Oil comes has no delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, which is found in marijuana. This oil is commonly used in aromatherapy massage, blended with other oils or in a diffuser to create a light, floral scent.

Known Uses

Cannabis Flower Essential Oil may be used in the treatment of certain ailments ranging from insomnia and women’s hormonal imbalances to respiratory tract issues, including hay fever, asthma, and sinusitis. Cannabis Flower Oil is added in some skin care creams, soaps, and perfumes as well as in candles for its aromatic effects and is also added to many sweets and hard candies.

The Essential Oil from the Cannabis Flower may also be used to improve some emotional problems, such as to relieve stress and boost energy. It may also be used to boost one’s optimism and enhance confidence as well as increase a sense of well-being. It creates tranquil and calm feelings.

Cannabis Flower Oil has insecticide properties that repel mosquitos, gnats, flies and other insects and can be applied topically to the skin as a mosquito repellant. The Cannabis Flower Essential Oil is also effective in combatting fungi in plants. It can be mixed with water and sprayed directly on plants to protect them from fungi on both indoor and outdoor plants.


The cannabis plant is believed to be a native to the northwest mountainous parts of the Himalayas and also near the Black Sea. Cannabis Flower Oil was commonly used in ancient Egypt, and much of this oil is still produced there.


Dilute Cannabis Flower Oil with a carrier oil to test for allergic reaction or skin irritation before using topically. Avoid applying the oil in spots near the mucous membranes and eyes. Be sure to purchase food-grade oil and store in a dark glass vial.
